MACON, Ga. October 26 2019A security guard who spotted a man trespassing and involved in stealing copper from an apartment complex call for law enforcement assistance.
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says on Sunday patrol deputies went to Crystal Lake Apartments to assist security with a suspicious person call.
The security guard onsite told deputies Gregory Duane Williams was found in the building. When deputies checked Williams they found a pistol in his pocket.
Williams was booked into the Bibb County Jail on charges of burglary and possession of a firearm while committing a felony. He’s being held on a $14,150 bond.
